The process of the coaching session

The different approaches I use

I use NLP to help my clients change their negative behaviors and achieve their goals. Additionally, I utilize Core Transformations, Aligning Perceptual Positions, Non-Violent Communication (NVC), the Bodynamic Foundation Course, the International Coaching Federation (ICF) approach, and more. You can learn more about each of these approaches below.

NLP Coaching

NLP coaching works with the subconscious of the client using concepts of how information is stored in the brain rather than what it is.

NLP was founded by Richard Bandler and John Grinder, Judith DeLozier, Steve, Tamara and Connirae Andreas, as well as other contributors. The main methods were developed by modeling successful psychotherapists Virginia Satir, Fritz Perls, and hypnotherapist Milton Erickson.

NLP has shown high efficiency in solving everyday work and life related stress, changing limiting beliefs, destructive habits and behaviors, improving relationships, building up resilience and a lot more.

Core Transformation / APP

These methods were developed by Conierea Andreas, a talented NLP contributor.

The Andreas Family has been teaching their method for more than 30 years with great success and the proof is in their results.

Core Transformation and Aligning Perceptual Positions are gentle but powerful tools that can help people positively transform their emotional states, unwanted behavior, and bad habits. It offers the key to acceptance, a way to reach peace and joy, and resourceful emotional states for your mind and body.

You can learn more about these methods on the website coretransformation.org.

ICF Coaching

According to the International Coaching Federation, coaches help clients best by asking questions that encourage them to think more constructively about their situation. This allows the client to explore and apply more resources and solutions, change their perception of the situation, and grow as an individual. I often use this approach in conjunction with NLP techniques to help my clients overcome deep subconscious blocks.

Non-violent communication

The Non-Violent Communication (NVC) approach was developed by Marshal Rosenberg. This simple and fascinating approach raises awareness about the ways we can use our language better and offers clarity about the difference between facts and judgments, emotions and non-emotions, needs and strategies, and requests and demands. It gives clarity to a person’s actual needs versus their wants and uses teaches people to have an empathetic approach toward others and themselves.

I use NVC as a supplementary tool to help clients better understand their needs and emotions as they arise in life situations. Although I am not certified by CNVC, I have spent a lot of time learning about NVC on my own, through groups dedicated to the topic, and sharing my experience with others.

NVC gave me the skill set to become emotionally free and highly self-aware and helped me understand my need, along with how to empathize with others. These are the same skills I use with clients today. This approach has changed my life and made me happier. I highly recommend learning about NVC in the book Non-Violent Communication: A Language of Life (3rd edition) written by the founder of Non-Violent Communication, Marshall Rosenberg. You can find more details on the website https://www.cnvc.org/.

Bodynamic

Bodynamic is a method of developmental psychology and psychotherapy that marries cognitive therapy practices with somatic (body-centered) ones. It takes into account current research in fields such as child development, brain science, and the role of interpersonal connection and relationships.

The Bodynamic Institute was established in 1982 by Lisbeth Marcher and ten of her colleagues in Denmark. The creators developed the Bodynamic Analysis System in 1985, which has since been supported by extensive research proving its efficacy.

I am certified in Bodynamic Foundation Training, and I use the knowledge and skills I gained as supplementary instruments with NLP.

FAQ’s

Answers to your frequently asked questions

Mindset coaching is a combination of approaches that help individuals transform their mindset, limiting beliefs, and obstacles into supportive and resourceful assets.

As a mindset coach, I combine different Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Non-violent communication, Core Transformation, International Coaching Federation approaches, and more techniques to help a person accept, transform, or change their perception of a situation or behavior in a way that offers a solution, resourcefulness, peace.

A session typically lasts 60-90 minutes, depending on the individual’s approach and how the process evolves during the session.

Some people may require more time, while others may need less, depending on the technique suitable for their request and the unfolding of the process itself.

No.
Mindset coaching is not psychotherapy and cannot substitute for it.

Psychotherapy is conducted by professional licensed psychotherapists trained to work with people who have mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, and other psychological disorders.

Mindset coaching is designed for healthy people who want to improve their lives, achieve goals, change their mindset and perception of things, see them from different angles, and transform limiting beliefs into supportive ones.

No, it’s not necessary.

The process is build to go through experience during the session and have it complete.

In rare cases, I might suggest little homework or some experiment to test out some ideas related to the clients requests and it’s up to the client if they want to do it or not.

Simple requests, such as “I want to go to the gym but keep procrastinating,” can be transformed in 1-3 sessions. However, sometimes a seemingly small issue can reveal deeper layers of other areas that a person wants to improve. Significant transformations in mindset and the development of new habits typically require at least 3 months.

First of all, we will solely focus on the request that you made at the beginning, and any modifications, approvals or improvements that you desire.

Secondly, you can always return to your old strategy, behaviour of way of thinking if it’s more beneficial for you.

We are not removing your old ways, we create new options.

Although I may make suggestions, the decision to proceed with any changes is entirely up to you.

Furthermore, our techniques are gentle and considerate of all objections and requirements, ensuring that they align with your wishes and preferences.

All sessions are conducted online, usually using Zoom or similar tool.

I have experience with the same clients having session live and online there are not difference in quality of results.

With some people we have never met in person and they still benefit from coaching.

It’s is convenient for both parties as we can meet from any part of the world as long as internet and electricity is available.

The frequency of your sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals. Some clients may benefit from weekly sessions, while others may prefer bi-weekly or monthly sessions.

I had clients who would schedule session twice per week, weekly, and ones per month. In all cases, clients got their benefits and results.

General recommendation is to have session every week at least for 3 months.

Testimonials

From my clients of trainings and coaching sessions

Oksana Smilka

Chief Operating Officer at Scalr

I was pleasantly surprised by Inna's ability to use metaphors to explain complicated concepts in a simple way. I attended her lecture on technological terms for recruiters, and I still remember how she explained the difference between coding from scratch and using a framework using an example of cooking.

Ulyana Lysunets

HR Manager at Kinethic

Inna delivered a lecture on assertive communication for employees of our company. It was very interesting and versatile. Each of us discovered helpful tips that were later implemented and widely used in practice.

Yulia Yurchak

Owner of Marketing Agency

I highly recommend Inna for coaching sessions. I enjoy working with her and always comes back when I have personal or professional challenges. It’s been more than 2 years when we had the first session and after each course I experience the big exponential internal growth after each.

Oleksandr Komarnytskyi

Landscape Designer, Entrepreneur, Artist

For some reason I used to think: "Artists are poor". Inna offered to change this belief and something interesting happen. Before I used to find stories and data about why is not really possible to make money on art, but after the technique, I started automatically focusing on opportunities, finding people who make living on art, and even selling my own art for a good price.
